Effect and Presentation
The magician hold both ends of a string, to which a cube has been strung. The magician shows how the cube falls freely down the string, by holding the string vertically. He then asks the spectator to call stop any time while the cube is falling. The cube magically stops at the spectator's command. To go a step further, the Magician shows that he can stop and start the cube anytime he wishes.
When the cube is handed to the spectator, the cube falls freely and the spectator cannot stop it as the magician did!
No magic skills are required for this trick. Very easy to do. Everything you need for this trick is included with complete instructions.
